We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson / Designer to join our Engineering Department to be responsible for delivering complete drawing packages, from concept, design, construction to as-building, using AutoCad and Autoplant 3D design software.
Assist in the design, development and implementation of engineering works adhering to strict deadlines and high standards of quality.
Produce process / mechanical drawing packs (PFD's, PID's, GA's, Iso's, BOM's, etc)
Produce civil / structural drawing packs (overview, layouts, construction details)
Experience and knowledge required:
Minimum 5 years engineering experience in a relevant environment (Oil and Gas, Process, Automation, Power, Water, Heavy Engineering) with associated practical field work.
Relevant trade qualification or Engineering tertiary qualification is desirable.
Frequent use and general knowledge of current regulations and codes (PECPR, HAZNO, AS/NZS, ASME, API) and good engineering system practices, techniques, and standards is desirable.
Excellent computer skills with previous experience using AutoCad, Autoplant 3D Piping Design, Autopipe, Microsoft Excel, Access, Project and Word.
Strong organisational skills in relation to project management, planning, attention to detail, record keeping, administration and the meeting of deadlines.
Good understanding of Health and Safety systems, procedures and legislation specific to the energy industry.
