In this exciting role, someone switched-on like you, will carry out the calibration of process instruments from a variety of Instrument suppliers across our business. As a highly engaged team-player you’ll be ensuring the company’s health and safety requirements are adhered. Training and coaching site maintenance personnel in the appropriate use of control systems and process measuring equipment is something you enjoy doing.
Your other key responsibilities include:
*Ensuring that the calibration of all instruments under your control is in accordance with statutory and Fonterra requirements
*Manage the performance of all instruments related to your work
*Maintain a full and detailed understanding of all relevant regulations codes of practice, and Fonterra Standards.

To succeed in this role, you will bring excellent communication skills, a strong customer focus and the ability to develop collaborative relationships quickly. You will have the ability to respond to changing business needs with respect to the specialised technical support you provide – adapting the way you do things but ensuring that compliance to standards are consistently maintained.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
*Instrument Qualifications up to or the equivalent of level 4 i.e. National Certificate in Industrial Measurement & Control L4
*NZ Electrical Service Technician certification
*Experience in the food manufacturing industry
*Knowledge of SAP
