About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join us in our newly structured IT Service group -Banking Services. This role will be responsible for ensuring our business stakeholders’ vision for our services are understood and appropriately defined.
If you’re interested but you live outside Taranaki, we’ll even help you make the move - providing a relocation assistance package for the right candidate.
As one of our Business Analysts you'll be right at the front end of refining requirements, optimising business processes, systems workflow and dataflows through your team’s services. You will also be closely supporting the Agile delivery teams through implementation of changes, quality assurance testing and operational management of these services.
To succeed in these roles you’ll need:
4+ Years working as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst within a Software Development Environment
Commercial experience using different software delivery frameworks, e.g. Agile/Scrum, Iterative and/or Waterfall
Experience in building and participating in cross-functional collaborative teams
A genuine care for customers and stakeholders and a positive and enthusiastic ‘one team’ attitude
A good knowledge of the Financial Industry or Banking domains would be an advantage
Appropriate Qualifications and/or Certifications (Bachelors in Computing and/or Business, IIBA Certified or equivalent)
A pragmatic, proactive, positive and collaborative working style
Team player qualities and a strong work ethic
A right-first-time commitment to quality
To be a change agent- someone who thrives in a fast paced changing environment and actively accepts, embeds and reinforces continuous change
