To continue to drive growth, we are seeking a driven Sales Representative who understands our customer base, can drive and develop new customer relationships and deliver on set revenue targets.
Reporting to our Palmerston North Sales Manager, this role assumes responsibility for achieving targeted revenue & growing profitability for Laminex in the Taranaki region, by developing and maintaining strong working relationships and a deep knowledge of a local commercial customer base including furniture makers, joiners and merchants/distributors.
You will be accountable for delivery of set revenue targets, development of a commercial understanding of our customer base and where we can develop further across the market, as well as understanding our customer needs and how we can differentiate ourselves.
To be considered for the role you will be proven as a relationship/territory representative, experienced managing a call cycle, be customer-centric and have talent for qualifying and developing business opportunities. Your personal credibility will lie in honesty and working with integrity, you effectively organise and plan your time and develop and implement sales growth plans. Inherently you possess personal drive and determination to achieve stretch goals and targets that will ensure your success.
We’re not hung up on what kind of background you have. You don’t have to be in the building or interiors industry, but industry experience would assist in understanding the role. What we’re big on is your proven track record in sales, enthusiasm, drive and a genuine thirst for success.
