We are looking for an experienced individual who will be responsible for maintaining and improving operations integrity in terms of process safety barrier requirements and associated report. This position will drive operational excellence in capturing and applying lessons learned, standardisation and simplification of operations and maintenance tasks and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
Suitable applicants must have:
NZCE or equivalent is desired
Proven production operations and maintenance expertise in onshore upstream oil and gas field production and maintenance operations.
Qualification or competencies in Asset Integrity or Process Safety would be highly desirable.
Proven experience in Asset integrity or Process Safety.
Knowledge of relevant engineering and Operating standards and regulations.
Detailed knowledge of Safe systems of work such as Management of Change, Permit to Work and Process Safety
Implementation and production management systems
Track record of implementing continuous improvement and operational excellence in oil and gas operations
Supervisory experience and ability to train and mentor operations staff
Ability to interface well with colleagues and contractors.
High level of communications ability, including ability to communicate and drive complex issues, proactively influencing others with sound technical reasoning
Ability to set priorities on competing issues according to value to business.
Motivated, self-starting, independent individual with high level of initiative.
