We are looking for an experienced individual who will be responsible for providing framework, resources and guidance for Operations in Project Assurance through early engagement with the project and engineering and design, through to commissioning and start-up.
Suitable applicants must have:
NZCE or equivalent is desired
Qualification or competencies in Project management would be highly desirable.
Proven production operations and maintenance expertise in onshore upstream oil and gas field production and maintenance operations.
Any further education, trade skills, etc. would be desirable.
Detailed knowledge of Safe systems of work such as Management of Change, Permit to Work and Process Safety
Proven Project Management and Project Delivery experience
Track record of implementing continuous improvement and operational excellence in oil and gas operations
Knowledge of relevant engineering and Operating standards and regulations.
Supervisory experience and ability to train and mentor operations staff
Ability to interface well with colleagues and contractors.
High level of communications ability, including ability to communicate complex issues.
Ability to drive issues and proactively influence others with sound technical reasoning.
Ability to set priorities on competing issues according to value to business.
Motivated, self-starting, independent individual with high level of initiative.
