Office Manager

Taranaki Outdoor Pursuits and Education Centre - TSB TOPEC require an office manager with skills, experience and savvy to be the back bone of day-to-day operations.

To thrive in this role, you'll need to love variety, work independently, communicate well, be super organized and be willing to turn your hand to diiferent tasks to keep the Centre ticking over.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a proven track record in office administration. Hours can be negotiated and could work within school hours.

Key responsibilities involve:

-Manage the office by being the initial contact for enquiries, screening telephone calls, providing appropriate responses, assessing priorities and coordinating the purchase and ordering of camp consumables
-Monitor incoming mail and email, responding where appropriate and forwarding to the director
-set up systems and procedures as required
-manage procurement of all supplies, equipment,
-invoice clients and manage accounts payable
-Payroll administration
-personal administration duties for director
-managing and assisting in property upkeep.
There will also be ad-hoc and project work such as you'd expect in a dynamic company.

You will need:
-strong business and finance administration knowledge
-basic accounting skills with a high degree of accuracy
-knowledge of quick books and / or xero would be very useful.
-ability to produce business correspondence, with a high degree of accuracy
-experience managing the calendar of a busy organization.
-the desire to make a real difference in a small company, and to have some fun along the way.

The position will be advertised until filled.
