Senior Storeperson

Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of staffing and training services.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Storeperson to join and lead the Stores team in our client's Bell Block workshop. In this dynamic and professional environment, you will maintain effective stock levels, and will be responsible for efficiently controlling the movement, storage and stocktaking of our client’s inventory while leading the team to improve processes and implement best practice stores management.

Experience required:

Previous experience leading a stores/warehouse team.
Ideally you will have 3 years previous stock management experience within the oil and gas industry.
You will have a keen eye for numeric accuracy and good computer skills.
Previous experience using an inventory system.
A forklift licence and an approved handler’s certificate for dangerous goods is desirable.
Key responsibilities include:

Lead and develop the Stores team.Identifying and implementing process improvements within the Warehouse environment.
Identifying and implementing process improvements within the Warehouse environment.
Responsible for maintaining the Inventory Management system in accordance with Company procedures.
Ensuring that relevant documentation; labelling, palletisation and presentation is completed efficiently and effectively.
Ensuring the timely receipting of incoming inventory and associated filing is processed.
Movement and storage of product including unloading/loading trucks with a forklift or wheel loader, monitoring the stock movements/damage and dispatching on time.
Managing the timely receipting of incoming inventory, ensuring associated filing is processed.
Ensuring timely advice and/or disbursement of received deliveries to the appropriate departments.
Manage the Conducting monthly monthly stocktakesing process to ensure they are completed to the agreed schedule.
Providing support and warehouse access to operations after hours where necessary.
Coordinate closely with the logistics/procurement function.
