The Position

As our New Plymouth operations grow and we continue our commitment to deliver safe, reliable and sustainable outcomes for our stakeholders, we are searching for a Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to join our HSEQ Team. This role will provide holistic HSEQ technical and assurance support predominantly to the LogiCamms New Zealand operations, with the potential to support our other businesses in Australia.

You will be a key figure in leading the change management process for the integration of different HSE Management Systems and ensuring alignment with NZ regulatory requirements for the overall LogiCamms HSE Management System.

Furthering our HSEQ values will be one of your strongest attributes, with the ability to engage all levels of the organisation to promote our culture and expectations, ultimately being the voice and leader on safety from the office to the field. As the successful candidate, you will be capable and confident in the following areas:

Managing the design and delivery of legislatively compliant HSEQ plans, procedures and training;
Ensuring the requirements of LogiCamms HSEQ systems and procedures are being demonstrated;
Pro-actively identifying and executing new initiatives to improve HSEQ performance;
Providing advice to the business to assist with HSEQ risk management and decision-making activities;
Working with internal sales and project teams to see HSEQ considerations undertaken as part of proposals;
Supporting responsible injury management and safe Return to Work, for both work & non-work-related injuries;
Being the positive influencer to the business, from office related work to the field based activities; and
Leading HSEQ audits and investigations to ensure we report, analyse and learn continually.
The Person

You will be a seasoned HSEQ practitioner, who has a successful track record of working in oil and gas, manufacturing, construction and/or operations, as well as an engineering environments. You will also have:

A motivated, detail oriented approach to managing your own career and workload;
An appreciation of how HSEQ functions internally to the business and our Client expectations;
A passion for promoting and developing the HSE culture;
A strong understanding of New Zealand regulations and codes of practice;
Successfully designed and delivered HSEQ procedures and systems; and
Qualifications in OH&S (National Certificate/Diploma) or equivalent, lead ISO auditor accreditation (desired) and Certificates in Training and Assessment (preferable).
