An outstanding opportunity now exists to join the team in Taranaki working as the Contract Manager where you’ll play a leading role in one of our strategic partnerships for this Network Outcome Contract (NOC). Reporting to the Area Manager, this role provides management primarily to the NZTA Roading Contract, delivering on contract requirements, optimising resource use and achieving target results. This role works collaboratively across sectors, and works closely with our strategic partner Opus to ensure seamless delivery and outcomes. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

Proven successful Contract Management experience in Roading Maintenance, Utilities and/or Construction with NOC Contract Management preferred
Tertiary qualification, preferably in Business Management or Civil Engineering
Strong collaboration and communication skills
A strong track record of positive leadership behaviours that empower others
Proven track record in developing a culture that supports Health and Safety management, encouraging and rewarding excellence.
The ability to create and deliver a strong customer focus culture, and a collaborative approach to develop client relationships
An understanding of strategic asset management and local authority activities
