About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced IT Leader to join our Technology Services Team as a Service Group Owner, Technology Platforms.

As our Service Group Owner you will report directly to our CTO and be responsible for ensuring the Banks critical systems are available 24x7 so that all operational functions are maintained. This role is a newly created leadership position responsible for end to end service ownership of the Bank’s core IT infrastructure. You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for adding value to our business through technology and data.

To succeed in this role you’ll need:

At least 10 years IT Leadership experience, preferably in a 24x7 real-time environment, managing services and software environments.
Broad IT experience with a sound understanding of architecture principles across infrastructure platforms, security, networking, data, integration and applications layers.
Previous hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise IT infrastructure for a 24x7 environment.
Operational implementation and ownership of a technology led business continuity plan.
Strong, proven, people leadership capabilities.
Excellent understanding of project management principles
Proven experience in IT strategy, roadmap planning and strategy execution.
Experienced in managing vendors
Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry would be beneficial
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management or related discipline would also be beneficial
Team player qualities and a strong work ethic
To be a change agent- someone who thrives in a fast paced changing environment and actively accepts, embeds and reinforces continuous change
